Midweek Confessions

It's Wednesday so you know what that means ..it's MIDWEEK CONFESSION time..

~ I am very stressed but excited for this weekend. Our good friends are hosting us a couples baby shower on Saturday. We have already 72 friends and family coming to shower which is going to be a lot of fun. However, getting ready for everyone to arrive and entertain all weekend has added some stress to my daily life :)

~  I only have 6 more weeks of pregnancy and then Harper is here. I feel like I have so much to do with my job and home before she comes.

~ I am really excited about starting a new career in my life..being a mom..

~ Over the last few weeks/months, Will and I have realized who our "true friends and family members" are. It amazes me how these "people" have shown no interest in this new phase in our lives. At least it has shown us their true characteristics and intentions.

~ We have decided on a middle name for Harper. We are going to use my middle name Nicole. Since, we had such a hard time narrowing down the list we decided to go with my name since we will go with Will's middle name if we have a boy next time around.

~ I have all of Harper's clothes washed and hung up in her closet or folded nicely in her dresser. I even put perfumed liners in the drawers of her dresser. (She has to have nice smelling clothes :)

~ I sometimes go and sit in Harper's room thinking about what life is going to be like in the next few weeks.

~ I am obsessed with House Hunters. For some reason, I get so entranced with watching people tour homes then seeing which one they decide to buy.

Well now that I may have offended some people I think I have confessed enough for this week :)

What are your confessions?

  1. I love House Hunters too! I always try and guess which house they will pick! Ha!!

I love the name you picked out for your little girl--it's a very classy name!

  2. We used my husband's middle name for our son's middle name as well. I like that it's a tribute to him (and his grandfather) without making our little one a "Jr."

I live vicariously through the people on House Hunters International! I'm jealous of all the people moving to exotic locales :)

  3. I feel you on the whole friend issue. I lost a lot of my "friends" after having s baby. Don't worry-you'll make mommy friends in no time!

  4. I love watching the people make their snap judgements and find things to criticize about the houses in House Hunters. And then I wonder if I wouldn't do the same thing.

I'm 13 weeks to go, and our baby room is a giant disaster! I wish I were even close to thinking about being ready to have clothes in a dresser (not that I've bought the dresser.... or the clothes). I keep telling myself I have time. But that will only work so much longer.
