Yesterday, Will and I had a lot to celebrate. Will found out that the largest hospital in his territory, and one of the largest in the country, decided to convert to the medical device he sells and begin using it in 2012. Will's boss was so happy, for what he had accomplished, that they told him to take me out to a nice dinner to celebrate on the company's expense. (Which we had no problem doing :).

Now, let me first explain why everyone is so excited! This is a HUGE account that was lost to the previous representative before Will even had this job. When he was hired, he was told that he would never get this account back, due to all the damage the previous representative had done. However, my hubby proved everyone wrong. After working on this account, for over a year and a half, he was able to prove to this hospital that his product is the best on the market. I must say, I am a very proud wife and excited that all my hubby's hard work has paid off for him and our family!

So, for our celebration dinner we decided to dine at one of our newest favorite restaurants, The Blue Apron. This is a restaurant located in downtown Salem, Virginia.
We have been to this restaurant a few times and each experience has been wonderful. It is a small restaurant with excellent decor and cuisine. It has dark wood floors, eggshell paint, cork tables and country French motif. It reminds me of a restaurant you would find in Napa Valley. It also has exposed brick walls, which have been nicely restored, conveying an atmosphere that revels in sheer simplicity.

The food is also something to brag about. Every month the menu changes to adapt to the seasons. The meal options come in small and large plates which is great if you want to try something different.

Tonight, I decided to start off with the romaine salad and then to continue with two small plates. One being the crabcake special and the other the lobster fettuccine. Both of these plates were so divine. Will decided on the lobster bisque and a large plate of fresh mussels. All the food was so good that I'm getting hungry typing all about it.

So, as you can see we really enjoyed our night of celebration. This weekend, we are headed to my hometown for my very first baby shower with my family and friends. I cannot wait to see everyone and share with them the joy of Harper's arrival.
