Dear Harper,
I cannot believe that you are already 5 months and counting...You have changed so much this month, it is unbelievable.
This month you have been so much fun! I have enjoyed every moment that I am able to spend with you. You have really started to smile and laugh alot. You love when we sing to you, play with your tummy , and tickle your feet. You are going to be very active we think because you are always kicking your legs and feet. You have also found your feet and love to put them in your mouth. I will be sure to remind you of this when you are in high school and think your really cool.
You have come to love tummy time. Each day you do about 20 minutes of tummy time. You do seem to get very frustrated when you cannot move your little legs. I think that you will be crawling before we know it.
You have grown more this month than any other. You now weigh 15 pounds and are 25 inches in length. You are now in size 2 diapers but we are still using some of the leftover size 1 , since you are in between. You are now wearing 3-6 month clothing with some being just 6 months. Your blond hair is also starting to come in more which is so cute.
You are also so observant. When people talk to you , you always turn and listen. This month you even watch all the Summer 2012 Olympics. You really enjoy watching shows that are very active. Grammy even got you started watching Sesame Street which you seem to like.
As of now, you are still liking your Stars Mat and Swing but you have started to really like your new play set that your grandparents gave you.
You have also started eating solid foods. Your favorite is sweet potatoes and zucchini However, you do not like squash or peaches. You only eat solids about once a day but are now up to 6-8 ounce bottle each time you eat. So, you are a growing little girl.
I want you to know that you are such a sweet little girl who continues to bring so much love and laughter into our lives.
Love you so much,
Mom
